Growing ICAEW’s brand presence in Kenya.

Project Description:

The Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW) is a global accountancy body with over 150,000 members. Our objective was to build awareness about the organization in Kenya and while also encouraging new membership.

We were also tasked with strengthening their visibility among their key stakeholders in Kenya.

Approach

We have developed and implemented communication strategies and tactics for ICAEW and managed continuous media engagement since 2016. For over three years we have promoted their Quarterly Economic Insight (E.I.) Reports and boosted the knowledge
of ICAEW’s support for the annual FiRe awards events through press releases and media interviews.

Result

We have significantly grown ICAEW’s visibility in the media and generated media coverage valued at over USD $1.4 million over the past three years. Today Kenyan Business journalists have grown to trust and rely on market insights from ICAEW to qualify their stories. ICAEW have now become a major thought leader in the financial sector in Kenya.
