Project Description:

We launched Hemingways Collection, as the first chain of boutique hotels in the local market in 2013 with its flagship being Hemingways Nairobi. The core strategy for the launch was to ensure correct key messaging for the brand that would allow it to stand out in the crowded hotel industry while leveraging on the Hemingways Watamu legacy (Hemingways collection’s 23 year old property). Our strategy further focused on ensuring brand visibility through key activations some of which included hosting English Football star Aaron Ramsey and RnB singer Anthony Hamilton and his band during his concert in 2013. We ensured the hotel received regular positive media coverage valued over US$ 645,564 in advertising value.
